The Exchange, presented by Hindalco in collaboration with Xynteo, is a platform that brings together eminent leaders from Indian and global corporates, public policy, government, not-for-profits, and entrepreneurs, to solve pivotal challenges towards building a people- and planet-positive future.
Together 'India@2030: Scaling Good Growth' will showcase the sustainable and responsible practices that are required to scale Good Growth.
India is already a shining beacon of growth and development in the 21st century. Now, as a leader of Global South our collective voice must be a powerful advocate for people and planet-positive innovation, action, and impact.
We know our 2030 ambitions are bold, clear, and inspirational – but ambition will only get us part of the way to the future we seek. At home and abroad we will need partners to actively collaborate on systemic challenges; to embrace new ideas and realise new solutions; and to find new ways to balance the economic, social, and environmental needs of our world.
The Exchange is a powerful opportunity to build a more sustainable and future-fit India.
The programme is designed to bring together business leaders, policy makers, thought leaders and entrepreneurs for perspective shaping conversations, shaping action-orientated solutions, and to accelerate India’s ambitions for an inclusive and planet-positive future.
Objectives of the Exchange include:
- Tackling shared challenges to future-fit growth through immersive sessions
- Forging new, and reinforce existing, relationships for transformative collaborations
- Generating actionable outcomes that leverage the expertise of like-minded organisations
- Nurturing start-ups and change makers that are innovating for a sustainable and resilient India
India has a unique opportunity to build sustainability without carbonising, to move millions out of poverty through circular models that attract value and capital. By embracing solar, EVs, and planned urbanisation for walking and cycling, India can be the only G20 country to achieve climate targets by 2030. Business models, not mandates, will drive this circular economy where sustainability constantly improves. If companies don’t go green, it will not bode well with their long-term market positioning. With clear and set goals, sustainability can become an integral part of India’s future as the country progresses.

Realising an equitable and sustainable future now hinges on expanding opportunities through skilling, women’s leadership and financial inclusion. With cross-sector collaboration, as seen at The Exchange, India can deliver on its vision of ‘Viksit Bharat’ and be a model for green development.
