3 Sep 2019

Globally renowned tech entrepreneur Jimmy Wales is heading to Oslo this October to present an address as part of the 2019 Xynteo Exchange.

As co-founder of Wikipedia and the Wikimedia foundation, Wales brings a unique perspective on the power of democratised information, de-centralised publishing and the role of the internet and social media platforms in today’s society.

In his first visit to Oslo since 2016, Wales will address 500 business leaders and change makers on day one of the 2019 Xynteo Exchange in Oslo, as part of the Square programme.

The addition of Mr Wales complements a vibrant and inspiring Square program, which also features Verizon CEO Hans Vestberg,  EcoNet Wireless founder Strive Masiyiwa and Ingka CEO Jesper Brodin.

«Imagine a world in which every single person on the planet is given free access to the sum of all human knowledge. That's what we're doing» - Jimmy Wales
