Provided the client’s top 100 leaders with a common set of leadership behaviours and a framework to help them implement actions with a material commercial impact on their ambitious medium-term strategy
The client, a leading asset-light freight and logistics company, aimed to enhance the professional capabilities of its top 100 leaders to better navigate a rapidly changing environment and support its ambitious growth strategy. To achieve these goals, the client sought to address unprecedented global challenges and align its leadership behaviours company-wide. With this background, the client engaged Xynteo to develop a comprehensive learning and development programme tailored to these needs.

The initiative
The key objectives for the engagement:
- Enhance the professional capabilities of the client’s top 100 leaders
- Define and embed a common set of leadership behaviours across the company
- Identify and implement high-impact opportunities aligned with these leadership behaviours
- Support leaders in executing action plans that generate measurable commercial impacts
Xynteo’s role
- Market scoping: Xynteo team conducted a 6–8-week assessment to identify the client’s commercial and strategic objectives, development needs, and suitable development approaches
- Design: Over three months, we designed the programme, defined the timeline, commercials and KPIs, and prepared the necessary content, materials, and experts
- Delivery: We then launched a three-phase programme:
- Engaged external thought leaders to help define common leadership behaviours
- Developed a framework to identify high-impact opportunities for applying leadership
- Supported leaders in executing action plans during an 8-week sprint, measuring the expected and realised commercial impacts
