Explored the policy landscape and ecosystem, as well as found agribusiness partners in order to recover Europe’s contaminated and abandoned land for sustainable biofuel production.
The client, a global energy and petrochemical company, sought to contribute to Europe’s climate commitments and economic recovery by developing sustainable biofuels. The challenge was to produce these biofuels from contaminated and underutilised land (CUL) or abandoned land in Europe, while ensuring alignment with Europe’s social and environmental goals.
The client engaged Xynteo to support this initiative, leveraging their existing partnership across various programmes, potentially influencing the energy sector’s approach to biofuel production.
