The client is a global leader in aluminium and a major player in copper. With a global footprint spanning 48 manufacturing units across 10 countries, it aims to build a greener, stronger, smarter world through innovative solutions for a sustainable planet.
To support this vision, the client engaged Xynteo to develop an innovative model focused on creating sustainable livelihood opportunities for communities around their mines. Silk reeling and handloom weaving is a traditional artform in parts of India. But, in recent decades, artisans have been moving away from this artform due to certain value chain challenges. One key opportunity identified was the rejuvenation of Kosa silk, an indigenous art form in Chhattisgarh.
