Xynteo was tasked with helping a global retail business breakdown barriers with their supply chain to solve people and planet challenges
Tackling the challenge of climate change is a key ambition of most retail businesses, their leaders, network of stores and supply chains.
In an effort to accelerate their impact, our partner looked for a way to be more collaborative across all aspects of the business, and importantly, with their external ecosystem and value chain. By doing so, they wanted to inspire action to tackle systemic issues and be positioned as a purpose driven retailer.
Based on Xynteo’s award winning Exchange events, we created a bespoke three-day programme to facilitate engagements. Now in its 4th year, the annual conference gives participants the opportunity to dive deep into challenges and find solutions through surprising perspectives and unique settings.
The open innovation platform has enabled the business to work across industries and sectors to support internal leaders to articulate and prioritise sustainable solutions, generate ideas, create pilot partnerships and form coalitions to deliver impact.
Over the last four years the programme has accelerated the businesses sustainability journey – including:
- Aligning leadership teams to demonstrate more agile and collaborative behaviours
- Creating systems-orientated solutions with commercial and societal impact
- Building a trusted external ecosystem network of committed partners
- Positioning their CEO as an action-orientated leader in front of key audiences
