“I believe that businesses have a significant role to play in achieving a new, more sustainable and inclusive growth model for the future”

Sanjiv Mehta Managing Director and CEO, Hindustan Unilever

The scale and pace of India’s current growth model is placing enormous demands on the country’s resources, institutions and society. The Government of India has set ambitious goals to address some endemic problems, however, the task is too big to be achieved alone. Xynteo is working with Indian and International businesses, leaders, civil society and policymakers, to build tangible projects that sit at the intersection of human need and commercial opportunity.

India 2022

In late 2016, together with support from the Founding Partners; Shell, TechnipFMC, Hindustan Unilever, the IKEA Foundation and Tech Mahindra, Xynteo laid out the ambition for INDIA2022 – to leverage the power of collaboration to unlock a new kind of growth in India.

The business-led coalition is working to translate India’s vision, as articulated by the Government of India’s (GOI) development goals, into practical, sustainable commercial action.
