14 Dec Unilever leads in low-carbon growth
GLTE partner Unilever came top in a recent report that rates consumer brands on their approach to climate change. Leading the way in low-carbon growth, Unilever both reduced its emissions and experienced year-on-year revenue growth between 2010 and 2011.
Not only was Unilever ranked top but, scoring 91 points out of 100, it achieved the highest score to be awarded since the report, Climate Counts, began in 2007.
As a partner in the GLTE community, Unilever joins with business leaders to debate the future of growth at exchanges held around the world and to find practical actions for a low-carbon future. Paul Polman, Unilever’s CEO, is also on the Advisory Board for The Performance Theatre and received the Inspired Leadership Award in 2010.
