Transformative Projects
Waste No More
Waste No More is an interactive, digital curriculum which educates children on waste management and how we can address it, with a specific focus on segregation of waste. Working in partnership with the School Education Department of the Government of Maharashtra, Waste No More aims to take the digital curriculum to all Maharashtra state-aided schools, beginning with Kolhapur district in the first phase. The programme was launched across 1,994 schools of Kolhapur Zilla Parishad in the state of Maharashtra in July 2019. This programme has been enabled by Hindustan Unilever Limited through the India2022 coalition and led by Xynteo.

MedTechConnect
MedTechConnect is a collaborative platform that aims to strengthen the healthcare ecosystem in India by bringing together innovative healthcare solutions, disruptive delivery models and pioneering funding models to make critical medical technologies accessible to everyone. Its mission is to deliver disruptive medical technologies that create a step-change in last-mile healthcare, and adopt innovative business models to minimise the cost and maximise the reach of these technologies.

People
India2022 is governed by an Executive Committee and supported by an Advisory Board and Mentors.

The optimistic hope is to have India grow at 10% per year, but the quality of this growth has to be sustainable and inclusive. For this, the government and private sector need to work together.
I believe that businesses have a significant role to play in achieving a new, more sustainable and inclusive growth model for the future.
In the world we aspire to have, we need to find new ways of collaborating, which is difficult. I am optimistic about India2022 finding the code for how collaboration will look in the future.
When preaching gets converted into positive action and you become part of an initiative, that’s when change comes. This (India2022 coalition) is a noble initiative.
I think it is a great idea that the best companies in India are using their talent, knowledge, managerial abilities and resources to address some of the social challenges in the country.
This wonderful initiative (lndia2022 coalition) must succeed if we wish to undo the immense damage that has been done already to our environment and our planet during the last century of industrial development.
