Siemens to host GLTE in Shanghai

25/10/2010

At the Shanghai GLTE – which will be hosted by Siemens in partnership with Xyntéo – we will focuson China’s role in shaping the low-carbon world through both its geopolitical engagement andits growing contribution to driving low-carbon innovation.

Drawing on Siemens’ expertise, we will devote a substantial part of the programme to the “new electricity age” and to the role of electricity from alternative sources in building a secure and sustainable energy system. We will also take a look at how we need to change the way we plan and arrange our cities in order to meet the challenges of urbanisation and climate change.

As always, the format of the exchange will be highly interactive, with short presentations and an emphasis on table and plenary discussion.
