N. Chandrasekaran joins GLTE Leadership board

On Mr Chandrasekaran’s appointment, Dr Osvald Bjelland, Chairman and CEO of Xyntéo, said: “I am thrilled that Chandra has taken on the role. TCS is a world leader in ICT innovation, which is proving so pivotal in unlocking the efficiency levels that will underpin the low-carbon economy. Chandra’s participation in the board’s leadership will help us  to keep a string focus on the role of technology in unlocking a lower carbon economy."

Mr Chandrasekaran became TCS’s Managing Director and CEO on 6 October 2009. He has been at helm of several key strategic transitions at TCS since 2002, when he took on the role of head of global sales. Under his leadership TCS has extended its unique Global Network Delivery Model across five continents and ventured into new markets including Europe, Chinas and Latin America.

Xyntéo would like to thank Dr Irani for his enormous contribution to the Leadership Board since its inception. He continues his involvement through the  GLTE – Indo , which are currently focusing on low-carbon infrastructural development in India.
